Quick Crochet Giftables…

Over the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend I had lots of Grandsugar and family time…  All my children were home with their kids and we had a blast!!! We attended the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting along with Santa’s Workshop… We ate so much food, talked till we couldn’t and stayed up late!  Sunday afternoon after the kids headed home,,, It was time to get my hook out and get some quick crochet projects done… Time to stock up for Christmas!..

Last week over on Facebook I featured some really cute items in my daily Free Pattern Find segment… They were really popular with all of you and so I thought I would make some of them up… The first project was an adorable Animal Wash Mit…. the pattern is free and worked up easily… It was by chart and written instruction…

I loved the way they turned out… I made two frogs and a pig… My grandson took one home,,, Guess which one!  Click Here for the link to the pattern!

The second project I worked up was another Facebook favorite… Victorian Candy Cane Covers… They were very fast!!!  I made 12 of them in just a couple of hours!!

These would be great as stocking stuffer’s… Quick gifts for friends or to hang on your tree!!  Click here for the Free Pattern!

Also… I had another fun article published over at The Yarn Box... If you haven’t visited them yet,,, you are missing out!!!  The Yarn Box is a Free Crochet Pattern Website,,, They have tons of great patterns and lots of other great information too!!!  This month I wrote an article about having Knots in the middle of your skein of yarn and what to do… It also talks about ways to join yarn invisibly and much more… Click Here to head over and read my latest article !

I have lots of great info tucked away in this article,,, So don’t miss out… Let me know what you think,,, Leave me a comment over at The Yarn Box!!

And on a final note… We are getting close to the cut off for voting for your Viewer’s Choice Crochet-A-Long… Don’t miss out… Click on the tab at the top of the page to cast your vote… We have well over 300 votes so far!  We will start our group Crochet-a-Long in early January…  The more the merrier,,, I hope you will join in the fun!!  We will be showing off our projects as we go over on Facebook and there may be a little surprise in the end…

Stay inspired and have fun crocheting… Elena

  2. Thank you so much for the candy cane pattern! I am doing a completely homemade Christmas for my 2 daughters, granddaughter and 2 “adopted” sons. This will be a great addition!
